Doing some glass mosaic work and need to do some cutting i see that their are some hand cutters on sale, 2 wheel jobbies, do they work? or what are the options.

Hi, sometimes it is possible to get away without any cutting on mosaics. Depends upon area to be tiled and size of mosaics. See my post on curved wet room. In this, the ceiling inside the shower was out by 10mm from lowest to highest point, also the circumference would have meant a cut at one side, if spaced normally.
However I did not do any cutting.....
Instead I cut up some of the sheets into smaller strips and gradually " tickled " the spacing to accommodate full tiles, this is a bit time consuming. But if done carefully can hardly be noticed when the job is grouted. The mirror mosaics were also cut into individual strips and the spacing increased slightly as they did not fit and would have otherwise meant a cut on one edge ( would not have looked very nice )
I'm thinking of using mosaic glass tiles 15mm x 15mm in my kitchen and will have to go round sockets so I am sure to have to cut some. Already have an Erbauer tile cutter for which I could possibly buy a special glass cutting disk. I've read through the thread but am still confused. It seems that cutting glass is a bit problematic! Any ideas?
