Hi, Can anyone help me please, what are the guide lines for expansion/movement joints in large areas of tiling.
This is an 'L' shaped room in a house, I have been asked to quote for this work using porcelain tiles.

every 8-10 linear metres in all directions, over any existing expansion joints, any change in flooring structure (screed to wood) and where the tiles abutt other materials like walls, columns etc.
