Is there a blade available for the Fein that can cut porcelain? Had a peek on Tradetiler but can only see blades suitable for grout removal and not tile cutting. Thanks.

Better off with a grinder 😉

Lol Andy, I had considered the grinder but I can't get it in the tight space! Basically a tile has cracked behind a shower screen (not a job of mine by the way!) and they don't want to remove the screen to get at the tile so, I'm going to cut it out next to the screen profile and replace with a cut, but I need to find a way of cutting it out, the Fein would be perfect if I could find the right blade.

Do you have a roto zip that will probably do it or you can get an attachment that fits on your grinder that dose the same job

Not got one mate, only other tool I have is a dremel, and that struggles to get into the space as well.

tradetiler do an 80mm blade but dont think you will get any smaller than that. you should invest in a rotozip
I dont use much but has got me out a few problems when trying extract tiles/stone in a tight corner.

or for opening holes up if you dont have the right sze core bit

Tell the thick arsssed customer that the screen has to come off to do a proper job, why oh why do they have to make things bloody difficult for tilers.

Why not cut just inside screen with grinder and chip last bit out with sharp chisel,
you would still scratch screen if using fein up tight to screen.

could you use one of those cupped cutting disk. it would allow you to get closer to the extrusion because the nut is inside the disk.
