Cracked wall tiles with NMP

I used it because I was already there buying the 6mm for the floor. I always glue the floor but saw no reason why the walls would need gluing. I'd have been better off using plaster board!

Don't understand why anyone would use cement boards on walls, it's crap to work with and , well just really crap to work with
These were surpringly easy to cut compared to hardi or aquapanel. If I had a local supplier for Marmox or wedi I could get off the shelf then I'd do that but the easiest way for me to get Marmox is from merlecollins (kev) and he's 675 miles away!

Personally id of used plasterboard and tanked it , especially with metros, cheaper and just as good

How old is the work ?the grout looks very patchy from the photos and the cracked tiles look darker could there be a leak behind ?

Hi Gary, been a long time!

Theres been water ingress through the cracks in the tiles which has sent them grey. I went back yesterday and pulled two out. As a test I've run the multitool they the job in the boards and glued it, retaped it and refined the tiles. I've told him to keep an eye on it and we'll see what happens. It was as dry as a bone though.

Looks like you were just unlucky with the movement of the stud work Hopefully the repair will be fine
