I need to check the weights. It has said on the BG site that dri coat will take 20kg/m2. I know the tiles are not as heavy as that.

A Terrible idea! But it happens a lot. A tray will not bond to sand and cement and, neither will ply wood really

I have been told alway use silicon to bed them down on. It's flexible and bonds to the tray and plywood. BUT......... Manufactures state sand and cement. Don't want to upset the warranty. But surely it's better to use silicon
