Bridge Cutter

C

cornish_crofter

Looking for a bridge cutter, something like the Dewalt or Rubi but not necessarily that brand.

I think I've asked for the right thing, where a diamond wheel passes over the tile to be cut, rather than my having to feed the tile past the wheel.

Thanks

Hugo

some of these bad boys are two man jobs, lol

My mate has a cheapo that he got from topps and it weighs a tonne

if your going to spend around £700/£800 on a dewalt or top end rubi then fine, but i wounld'nt bother with the £200/£300 bridge saws.

Nicobond have an offer on for a bridge saw at the moment. Couldnt tell you the make or model but it was under 200, (+VAT). Also couldnt tell you, (due to my lack of using one), if its worth the money, (or not!).

LOL Steve!

Sorry - been away from the forum for a few days.

I am interested.

I'll send you a PM.

Pound for pound and if on a tight budget the overhead vitrex is superb.
It did every cut on the stone wet room that won the job of the month for the Spanish tiler in summer and also all the cuts on his December job of the month and still going strong
