Barrier cream

Been doing ten hours a day six days a week for the last month and my fingers and thumbs are splitting down to the bone and can't take anymore, anyone know of a barrier cream or something like (besides marigolds that I've been wearing for grouting)to stop the cracks and wearing down the skin??

I don't think a barrier cream would be any good as when it gets wet you end up with slippery hands, or at least it used to when I started in the motor trade 35 years ago!

What sort of gloves, I'd be scared of dropping a tile on a bath or shower tray if my hands wernt in full contact with the tile..it's about time someone brought out a proper barrier cream...got hands like grade 3 sandpaper, plus my birds tights are laddering at the first stroke 😉

Your lass would appreciate a few weeks of you wearing latex!
None of the tight heavy gloves just thin durex thin so you can feel the tiles.

Slashing all over your hands works but its guaranteed better if your misses does it, no joke. As for your problem, me, I wear gloves all day even when cutting with sigma.

I started using barrier cream last year plus i wear medical nitrile gloves(purple ones)
and i've found a difference,my hands are not as dried out and feel alot better.
