Bought a TX700n today from CTD £258 inc VAT.
The TX700 is £230 inc VAT
Got a 600x300 porcelain job to start on Tuesday - almost looking forward to it now!
Offer on for a month apparently. I know they have branches in Birmingham, Cardiff and Exeter - not sure where else.
Previous best I've seen for a 700n was £330ish.

what a good buy mistral, let hope it pay's it's keep within a year m8,good luck

I ordered some bits from Dave Tradetiler yesterday lunch time, and the things were here at 10am today, really good service, i would always ring him first for a price :thumbsup:

TradeTiler have stocks of the new alloy one which is light(ish) so I'm guessing CTD have the older cutters in stock which are heavy buggers. Perhaps that's the reason for them selling them at such a low price? So they can get the new stock in? Dunno.

I'm just checking with TradeTiler to make sure that their price promise thing still applies to matching special offer prices for you all. I'm not 100% certain it is.

it'll be light compared to the larger rubi here, the smaller one is my tx700 lol

Note the TradeTiler.com Price Match Promise. 🙂

Tradetiler Price Match

Dan..those models CTD are selling are the OLD models of the TX700 series and Tradetiler stocks the new lightweight model...so NO price match can be offered on the new model to the old model...that is why CTD are selling them off...quite clever of them hey!!.

Best to check to see if Tradetiler has any old models left..

Nice one Dave.

I think Dave Neave is is replying to the thread now. 🙂

p.s. you doing a review on your new toy that's on its way to you? 😉

We sold the last few this week at a redudced price.

Plenty of the new lighter ones in stock.

Just relaunched an old offer - use the coupon code ZXGTY to get 5% off all Rubi TX models until the end of Dec

Thanks for clearing it up Dave mate. 🙂

How much ligher than the old are the new ones mate?

Not sure, there is not a massive difference in wight - every little helps!!

Rubi have made a proper sprung bed on the new ones so no more sponges to come unstuck:thumbsup:

that's why I asked mistral if his was the new version, I was 99% sure that Davids is, and suspected that mistral's is stock clearance. Still a damned good cutter at a good price tho:thumbsup:

CTD are only selling the old ones

(they have beds sprung with foam pads not wire springs)

To be honest, even in the unlikely event of finding something cheaper elsewhere i would still buy from tradetiler. I have bought all my cutters from dave , including ts40, ts60, tx900, dw250 wet cutter, laser liner, rubi drilling kit, marcrist drilling kit, spacers blah blah blah, list goes on. And last night ordered a new rubi nd200. Would much rather give buisness to someone who offers an excellent service and is consistent in doing so than buy something elsewhere to save a couple of quid. You even get a text to tell you that your order is being processed/dispatched and you can track online, what more can i say, keep up the good work dave!
