Retiling concrete floor

I've been tasked to retile a porch. Its 6ft3by 6ft. It currently has red tiles down under carpet. What's the best way to get them up and what will I need to do before laying new. .. Do I self level? Many thanks

If you need to get them up either a sds drill with a chisel attachment and goggles, or hammer and chisel with goggles, get it all up give it a vac prime the floor and self level it. Then you will have a nice flat surface for Tiling

This floor is Rock hard and I'm guessing it's set in concrete and not tile adhesive. I tried chiselling some and it's damn hard. Very difficult to get up... Definitely not ceramic... Any advice please thanks

Is this the same porch that you posted about before - look the same tiles. If you do need to lift them up. That type of chisel (>75mm to reduce making channels) and a good SDS (Max if needed) with rotostop (so the chisel doesnt spin like a drill). They can be hired if that works (>4 joule impact type machine)
