Hello Cam,

Our grinding cup wheels are a bit specialist, not really what you'd be using for adhesive removal (although they will quite happily perform this task), they are more designed for stock removal of stone during stonemasonry processes are aluminium backed and are priced accordingly. We're working on a less expensive range of products for everyday grinding tasks.

In reality the best product available for adhesive or surface coating removal is a PCD cup wheel, (polycrystalline diamond), but again these tend to a be a bit pricey although they are extremely effective.

Most of the guys I've come across that use cup wheels tend to use generic single or double row cups that are available for concrete grinding, these tend to be a bit cheaper.

We will have products of this nature available in the future along with a number of other items currently on my wish list!

nice one alan, extremely thorough and informative as per our phone calls today !

I will be using this for high points and blobs in concrete bases too. Are the double row cups around £15 and available quite widely (toolstation and such like)

cheers

Those are the ones, around the £15 to £25 mark. For everyday grinding and problem solving they are ideal. Very dusty though.

It was Nice to talk to you earlier. it's good putting a voice to some of the names on the forum.
