Good Evening ( New Member)

I have removed tiles today from my kitchen which were secured to a mix of plasterboard and render type plaster .
Whilst the tiles came away from the plasterboard easily this is not the case with the rendered surfaces which are now very uneven with a few large holes showing bare brick. Question. What is the best way to fill these hole to achieve a better tiling surface. Cheers

welcome to forum mate. as for your walls i use fast setting one coat patch up plaster get it from b&q cheaper, prime any areas to patch first , might have to build up on any deep areas with 2 or 3 goes . good luck mate!!!!..

Depending on how deep the holes are you may get away with using rapid set adhesive. As dh says prime any areas first.

Thanks very much. I'll let you know how I get on.

DEPENDING ON HOW BAD WALLS NOW ARE,YOU COULD ALWAYS DOT AND DAB SOME GYPROC ON THE WALLS.If you decide to fill make sure you use an acrylic primer and use a roller probably a small one to apply this to the walls.
