I do have to giggle...most of this thread is related to private reg's.......years ago I was shot to pieces on this forum for buying one!!!!!............(something about starving children)...

but you have to ask yourself.......if Bri was going to photoshop one on.......surely it would be "A1 BFJ".......or "01 BFJ".........just a thought........

I thought the photo looked like it had been tweaked thats why i mentioned Photoshop. I knew Bri had that plate though. If you look it looks a bit bright !
Any about personalised plate, ...cool if they are obvious ..as is yours Lee and so is Bri`s as the livery and plate work together.
I have my eye on a plate but unless you knew my name then you may not understand it. Its the same with lots of plates you see that people try to make say something. If you have to think too long about it then its not really worth it IMO. .....saying that I am still tempted to get the plate!

I'm going to get another plate but, it's not released until December when the '14' plates go on sale, I hope it's available, I'll have waited 13 years for it :lol:

Yeah noticed it was pointing more to private reg's. I love mine. Funny though, always got comments on it when it was on my Mk 6 sign written tranny but when I moved it to the Mk 7, no one noticed it. It's just recently again since the livery got done that people are saying "Love the new reg"

if you can afford it....get it!!!!.....it is a TAX write off..........and after 3 years it is yours (full cash value!).....due to depreciation!

that is the problem........you can not make your vechile "appear" newer than it is........so for instance....using my plate as an example......PR05 VAN........
my van must be an "55" or "06" plate ar newer........you can not put my plate on a car with the reg "G15 ABJ"........like my mates audi for instance!

Every combination of the 14 plate is available for general sale throughout December, then on the 31st they stop, I assume they start allocating them to dealerships (obviously loads are still available), I have the DVLA email notifications for auctions and special offers, that's how I know such a boring piece of information :lol:

when a plate is added to a vechile.....it becomes part of that vechile...and the depresiation of that vechile......PLS check with your accountant tho'.......but that is how it was sold to me!.....
