well it's half term and Kirkstone Pass is supposedly closed, but promised kids we'd go sledging, should be some good location pics, unless police are guarding the Pass..:smilewinkgrin:

about 15 minutes drive away Mark, it's just part of lakes to me tbh, the real WOW part of Lakes is west coast around was****er/eskdale area, not like the tourist areas of ambleside/grasmere/windermere, they're the boring bits

the part of the Lakes that's off the beaten track Mark, the best part imo, wast-water on the right leading up to Scafell, Englands highest mountain

photos don't do it justice in all honesty Mark, to my mind there's only Scottish Highlands and Norway that can beat west coast of Lakes...Norway wins by a country mile on all counts, can't wait to go back there for a good long holiday
