obviously the levels have gone out slightly, using a laser level would help prevent this. i just use a fat max to level the battens ensuring they're spot on before tiling

i don't know off hand, i'm sure someone will help you on here. as i said , i just use a fat max, 4foot or 6 foot. they work spot on for me.

Thanks Mike,just one question one of the tiles did not match up to the other tile on the grout line its above the door you cant see it in the pic but why is that all the rest do, is it because the wall runs out like wallpaper so you put the wall paper cut behind the door for instance.

It could be as you said or did you cut all the cuts above the architrave the same and the architrave was out of level ?

Laser levels are great but I only use them for setting out. I then place markers on the wall and work to pencil lines.

I had a full tile at the edge of the door frame and followed it up and then cut the rest across top of door frame but every other tile matched up apart from one i should of taken a photo to show you, maybe the architrave was out.

Finally finished this after a long wait for 3 tiles.
