Hi what would you guys recommend that would be best to replace the old plasterboard over bath, I have heard of so many different panels would waterproof plasterboard (greenboard) be sufficient .thanks in advance for your tips

As above. No plasterboard is waterproof unless tanked. That's the cheapest most simple way

Thanks for the replys existing plasterboard is in good condition I had used pvc panels over the existing plasterboard originally hadn,t got the ba**s originally to tile lol plasterboard has a single coat of paint on it would I be better to scratch aroynd where I intend to tile or just replace with new boards thanks for all your advice

Sorry for annoying you.s existing plasterboard in good condition have moved bath around to another two walls paint on the walls is it possible to use the tanking kit straight onto the plasterboard with paint on it thanks in advance for replies

Skimmed plasterboard or have you painted the actual board? Either way, the paint needs to come off

It was painted years ago I am moving the bath to another wall there is paint on the skim it will be a bas***d to remove could it be scored with a blade primed and then tanked ? Thanks
