Tiled shower floor-how long till use

Just finished tiling a shower floor, approximately 1m square. But i dont know what to tell the clients as to when it'll be ok for them to start using it. Theres no info on adhesive and grout packs.:icon9:
I used BAL Rapidset flexi adhesive on a tanked concrete base, plus BAL microflex wide joint grout (5mm, atleast 9mm deep, tiles were 4inches.).
Didnt think to ask in shop. DOH!

me personnally i'd say 24-36 hours!
but in theory it should be ok once the grout has gone off!🙂

i'd say 2 days to be sure we all know how fast rapid go's off, its just a case of the grout

I did try calling BALs info line but call kept failing. I'll see what Topps say in the morning.

manufacturers recommendations are good guidelines...but in the real world we with experience know the difference...had it been a power shower and not normal gravity fed or electric shower...I would have answered different ....how long do you advise Webby.?after 48 hrs have you ever had a customer phone to say the shower washed their grout out ?.........Gaz

if you told someone when you priced the job they had to wait two weeks after tiling before using, and someone else with a similar said two days who would you go with!!!

Misstiler was asking about FLOOR........not walls.

Rapid set can be grouted withing 3 hours...............Grout takes a few hours.
Overnight and its all ok to use.
