Hi

I'm doing a little diy tiling and need to ask about the best way to do corners with the plastic tile edging. I don't have a problem with a window with the 45 degree cuts to make a square edge. The real problem I'm having is a wall that is half tiled and goes around into the window. This means I need to cut the top tile edging as normal and the upright piece from the sill to the top edging (am I explaining this right:mad2: )

Can someone tell me how to do this without the point of the top edging sticking out over of the upright edging. Will i have to trim the "point" of the top edging to match the thickness of the vertical edging. which means this will leave a hole to fill with grout, but doesn't look the best.

Many thanks for any help received

Regards

Steve

okay Steve, if I'm seeing this right, it sounds as though you need to do a 3-way mitre, I'll see if I can find the link

i tend to use the square edge tile profile for this porpuse rather than the quadrent profile, as you can manipulate it to fit the top mitre cuts alot easier.....basically because i hate doing 3 way mitres hope this helps.

You can get preformed thumbnail corner pieces.. IMO the 3 way mitre leaves sharp edges.

Well I've 1 post and my question has been answered.

Many thanks to al who posted.

Heeeeere goes:thumbsup:
