i start,
last update Mapei course that I attended.
there was talk of new products ultralite s / 2 new lightweight adhesive and Mapelastic turbo.
Mapei says to lay T.P. is recommended ultralite s / 2, with drawing up in the same direction is on the wall / floor of TP.
this rule has been agreed with Kerlite, a major manufacturer of tp in italy

what covarage did you get on the two and how did you test this ?
if I understood.
floors and walls bathroom, kerlite 3 mm, size 1000x3000, 1800x1000 max cut. adhesive mapei ultralite s2.
7 mm for the wall. 3mm trowel for tile.
My opinion is 3 mm thick, better s2.
4/5 is good s1.
I could be wrong, the teacher is you. :)

Antonio, I think Ray is asking,
How much adhesive covered the tile when it was laid.
Did adhesive cover 80% of back, or 85% or 90% or
100%?

This is Ray's question in this picture. This picture shows Gary and me testing how much coverage was on back of the tile. (Sorbo is standing haha)
We spread on floor and we spread on tile, after laying tile, we picked it up again to see how the adhesive covered the tile.
Compry?

thanks marc.
I'm impressed you cover s2.
all tile was covered, no rows of trowel.
laid a slab without double buttering (for trial).
It remained on the wall, because it was ok. hahaha
PS your photo is the 50/70%?

I believe was S1 Tilemaster setaflex standard set, not rapid.
I can't remember exactly but maybe 10mm to floor, 4mm to tile.
When Ray see this post I am sure he will correct me if it is incorrect!
