Hi,

We've recently had an en-suite put into a new extension and I'm at odds with what to do with the floor. It's currently 18mm ply and the walls are boarded with moisture resistant plasterboard. It's not been plastered yet.

It will eventually be fitted with a shower enclosure using shower wall panels to two of the sides, glass to the other two, so won't be a wet room but I'm keen on tanking the room so any leaks or spills stay in the room and don't come through to the kitchen ceiling below.

The Homelux kit that tops sells looks good to me, the cost isn't a concern as this is my own home and I want to do things properly.

Is something like this the best thing to use or are there any better solutions I should consider?

Many thanks

Thanks, I think the only tiles we plan to have in there will be on the floor.

Looking further the MIRA tanking looks better value so I may well go with that.

Out of interest where are you in Hertfordshire? We're near stevenage and are looking to get a large kitchen/diner tiled. If you're interested drop me a pm.
