I'm installing a woodburner against a false chimney breast of block construction. I want to 'clad' this in slate and like some of the split face mosaic tiles available.

I'm concerned that the resin bonded construction of these tiles will be unsuitable, although I can find no definitive information.

Does anyone have any experience of this type of installation ? Would welcome any views.
