I will be tiling a small ensuite floor next week and installing a shower tray. Would it be ok to tile the full floor and leave a large hole for the trap then prime the tiles for installing the tray over tiles.

I've only ever installed the trays to the screeded floors then tile to them but was wondering is there a quicker method of this instead of the slow curved cuts.

As long as the tray is firmly secured to the walls and floor then no problem!

I usually use a classi seal around the tray. What's best to bond it to the wall. I usually use sand and cement but would addy do or would this take to long to set in large amounts.
