Hi All,
Just a short easy one. Is there any point in sealing Ulracolour plus on the walls or floor when used with porceline tiles? Thanks,
Gusty.

If the Porcelain needs sealing then just go over the joints at the same time.. if not then don't worry. 🙂

Dave, thanks and just a quick question. If my tile is the same colour all the way through then it does not require sealing, is that correct. It is a Alfalux Wenge tile. It has a patchy, semi glazed appearance. I think is does not need it but I am not sure. I was thinking the grout would be better protected if I did seal it but I have never used Ultracolour plus before so I was not sure on its properties regarding mould etc long term. Thanks,
Gusty.

Hi,
if I can add a question please......

I have just finished a kitchen floor with Mapei Ultraclour plus (chocolate) and Porcelain that doesn't need sealing. How good is this grout at resisting grease staining? Reason is our old floor by the cooker soon got discloured grout due to grease. If you recommend sealing the grout what sealer would be best?

Ta,
Roland

I only seal if its a tile that needs sealing. Not quite sure on these grout sealers, some say they work and others say they dont ?
