Hi

Ive been tiling for 12 years.And have laid alot of stone

I recently just finished a floor laid with sand stone

I have sealed it now 3 times once prior to grouting and twicw after grouting

Do you think i should put a stone oil over the top just to make sure as i no Sand Stone is very porus

any suggestions

You seal stone to the point of saturation, where as it does not accept anymore sealer... Use a sealer that will allow the stone to breath but still protects.

A good impregnator will do this, what have you been sealing with .?

As you mentioned that you want to replace the red and black tiles with a stone flooring. The stone flooring is a good choice for kitchen because it is very easy to maintain and has a high quality of brightness that's why the rush stain will be easily removed. So,according to me, it is a good option.
