good idea whitebeam, I was thinking how I tile, fully tile it, less the cuts, and then cut in, but if its multi room, it wouldn't work, thanks for that Gem ;-) nice one, how does £230.00 a week seem ? fair ?

Not really, 150 for 5 days would be fair. Any more than that and it'd be more economical to buy outright.

of course it depends if its cash into the back pocket or all above board and reclaimable.

I will hire my Sigma 10m (twice the machine) for £460 a week delivered and collected with a free bag of rapidset. A bargain for a £1600 saw.

Realise that but just give some idea including your delivery and pick up fee's....

that was the full price, including delivery and pick up, I thought it was a bargain, with a new thicker blade from richon tools to avoid blade deflection ;-)

sound like the tile shop is trying to drum up business through goodwill, down south it wouldn't happen, nothing is for nothing done here ;-)

Nah,just an independant tile retailer trying to assist us tilers.''You scratch my back and I''ll scratch yours'' type of thing. I'm not saying it total sways me everytime,but it is just something to stick in your memory bank for future use(me)
