Hi all,

new to the forum and looking for a bit of advice. I’ve stripped out an old bathroom and I’m getting the walls prepared for our tiler to come in.

there is one section that I don’t want to remove if I don’t have too and I’m hoping the tiler would be able to tile over?

So my question is remove and reboard, or will the tiler be able to tile over?

photos attached

many thanks
Darren

Welcome, the section at the door you mean. ?
Yes that’s correct, the section right to the door. I don’t mind replacing, but would save a job if adequate to tile. I might add that it would be tiled floor to ceiling, so half way up I’d where the old painted (green) plaster starts.
