Movies And Cinema Thread - Favourite Films And What's On?

I've just updated my Kodi - loads more stuff. Awesome recommendation whoever that was.

🙄 T'was I dear boy!!! I haven't updated mine yet, how did you do that???
Do you have a green square under system menu called "add on in saller"? Click that, have a look around.

Should have auto update on for the apps you have anyway I'd have thought. Ours came with it on. But I wiped mine by mistake (meant to clear cache as it was crashing a lot and cleared data - ended up with a Amazon fire stick that I paid too much for without the goodies) so reinstalled it all and found some other stuff throw on there.

If you go to Video > Add-ons you should have some options from when the original zip file it was installed with. In there you should find someone more sources.

I'll take some screen shots of mine for you see if you have all these mate 2 secs....

There's an after dark menu that probably doesn't need explaining.

I found more sources to add more menus and things.

I have a username and password if mine has more than yours and you want to replicate mine give me a shout. Was last updated UI wise August 18th I think it said.

@Plan Tec Tiling did you get this mate?

God yeah. I noticed then that the song I'd been listening to on radio was the song from it! Couldn't listen to the song again then.

Recently watched Martian. Awesome film. Thought it might have been a bit like Castaway where it was just him on Mars and not many other actors doing anything but it isn't. It's fairly action packed. I'd rate it highly if you're into sci-fi.

I have a MX11 box , same thing as above, mainly use TVMC, with Genesis, Navi-X, Phoenix, Sports Devil and its pretty good. Live Boxing and MotoGP and Formula 1 etc. All teh latesst shows if you like that sort of thing.....whuch remind me, latest Big Bang Theory is on tonight

That setup kept crashing so I use TVMC now too. Still crashes every now and again and I seem to need to restart the router for it to start again so must be some cache issue.

What resolution did u manage to get Dan?

Watched John Wick!
Wicked movie, absolutely non stop, not even enough time to make a coffee anywhere! Haha

To be fair, unless it's still on cinema, it usually has at least HQ feeds available. Even all old stuff not even made in HD or whatever appears to have remastered versions uploaded etc.

So I guess if it's on a DVD or BlurRay, we can get it high quality. If it isn't, it's sketchy.

Yeah that seems about right.
However did manage to find Jurrasic World and Avengers Ultron in HD but with Japanese sub titles.

If u like action movies check out that Keanu Reeves movie John Wick!!

Not one for dog lovers though. It's a little bit absurd but watchable. There are some moments in the film that are interesting, especially when it comes to the respect afforded to the character. The Doorman springs to mind and the moment when the Russian protagonist makes the phone call and is told the reason why his son was punched.

There is a sequel on the cards.

I saw The Martian last weekend. Well written, good screenplay and enjoyable from beginning to end.

It was nice to watch a Ridley Scott Space movie with no one being eaten by rampaging space monsters.

All movies are absurd Alan if u dissect them haha
That's why they're movies! 🙂
I don't mind absurd, it's the believable ones I find less enjoyable haha
I use movies to escape this mad world! Haha

I did like the "dinner reservations" though, that was mildly amusing. Plus when the local cop arrived at his door.
