Well you know that it makes sense to use a good brand of tiles cutter , so this year choose SIGMA .... the best all round cutters that money can buy..

A Sigma will change your whole outlook on how neat you thought tiles could be cut.. go on you know you want too.. go on and switch to Sigma.. it make sense and trust me on that ...

I did and it was one of the best moves i have made in my career .. less effort and less time to cut a tile and less weight of the tile cutter.. and less pennies out of your pocket.

I have to say Dave and a few others who have kindly tested some of our products for us have never asked for anything free at any time. It was myself who have offered the goods for them to test on my behalf. If I can get real feedback from you guys regardless if it's good or bad it will only help me in the long run. I can visit stores with confidence when promoting a product knowing it works well and tilers rate them. I have no problem letting people have a blast on the tools as I truly think they are worth it.

lol! I was only joking Derek
Plus they don't know that I have already sent them an invoice for the tools! :hurray:

Uh oh.... Those reviews are about to change dramatically

I'd like to try a sigma, Derek ain't biting though, even though I'm 2nd highest poster on TF....big bloody hint there Derek...but my good old Rubi tx 700 keeps chopping away steadily and I'm not gonna fork out £300 + just outta curiosity am I?

hey Douglas.. best choice you will make.... I know i bang on about Sigma now but i was so surprised at how bloody good they cut i have too tell ya all.. 🙂

Anyway , if you are over my way,, try mine and see how well they perform .

I have offered to lend you a cutter Doug so many times. Even drive it to your home if you remember?. Can't do more than that pal. If your cutter works for you then great. Just think of us though when or if you decide to get something new.

I think iirc Derek, it was to meet in Preston, but yes, when tx700 finally packs in I'll certainly make a more concerted effort to test a sigma:smilewinkgrin:

the_worlds_greatest_loser_greeting_card-p137012520199051518envwi_400.jpg
is a none Sigma user.

I'm up to Scotland end of next week Del, and will be going to Perth for materials, is there a sigma stockist there that I can have a trial (in store) play with?

Hi Derek,

What would be the best cutter to replace my [h=1]Rubi TS-60-PLUS Tile Cutter[/h]
Cheers

Paul

Hello Paul, If you want a 60cm I would say go for the 3BM Max cutter. Push scoring with 1200kg breaking power. Or a step up to 72cm which is a 3CM.

Dave,

Saw a recent photo you posted and it was Sigma all the way.
I agree great products and have had one for the last 5/6 months mainly for larger format tiles. Derek great guy and without doubt i can also endorse the product but we also have to be fair in saying Rubi and Montolit and I am sure others will offer up suggestions, produce great cutters and it is down to personal choice and budget.

Thanks Derek,

I take it the 3cm would handle tough porcelain?
Can you please tell me how much i could get one for?

Cheers

Paul

Yes they are all built to handle G5 porc and much more. You could call Dave at PHG who has them in stock right now. 01388776211.

hi all, i seen a post on this very site for drill bits, putting up a stand in stores sale and return, would be great if sigma could do this,if there as good as people say, sigma would be laffing:lol:,

Sigma is not present out here in Spain. I'm with Doug. The Rubi Tx 700 is up to the task. Can't complain about something that works. Hasn't caused me any inconveniences, infact, it's probably the best machine I've purchased yet.
