How often do you replace your grout floats?

must admit, I find doing floors wrecks the floats, I use Marshalltown floats, and will get through about 3/4 a year.....but I probably work harder than you...

You just need to charge twice the amount per metre then you can do half the amount of work, it's simple maths my dear boy

i have had a silverline one for two years my rubi one lasted me acouple of months same as myMarshalltown

Ragni float for floors ,and marshalltown for walls . Usually change twice a year, or if I see a float I haven't yet used I'll give it a go! But I never dump them because you never know when the dreaded black grout pops it head , their also great for flushing mosaic tiles

My latest trick is getting the rubi wooden handled one burred down with the fine sandpaper that came with me fein. Virtual brand new. Taking clean to a different level.

Yeah I keep a "black grout" float. Then forget to take it to the "black grout" job. Then I have 2 "Black grout" floats, then 3, .... it also means I have to buy a new float every couple of months
