Next time I have a good idea, I think I'll keep it to myself :mad2::mad2:.

I had some boxing in to do with mosaics, so gave the client the option of profiling the edges for a more unique effect. Next time, I'll keep my big mouth shut :yikes:.

I think they turned out okay .

Looks mint! Have you still got all your fingers! That must have been super fiddly.

Little details like that are the difference between a good job and a class job. The shame is not many appreciate the thought and labour that goes in to it. Well not quite true, they might like it but not understand

Looks very nice. It may be a small detail to the client but makes a huge difference to the overall effect...looks are one thing but I enjoy the feel of rounded stone edges...or is that just a fetish of mine ?

Really nice, love it!
What kit did you use for the profiling? - how long did it take?

Absolutely fabulous, my dear 🙂 really, I'd be stroking the edges while no-one is looking, they look seriously yummy!

have to agree with all that looks class and the extra detail really finishes the job to perfection.

well done daz.

Good job! They do look smart. That's me all over that is. Suggest what I'd do with my own home and then sit doing it for no extra pay for hours myself just to get a smile off the customer.

Tell me about it, me, too.. always seems such a good idea at the time..

Thanks everyone.

The mosaics are 10mm thick Oli.
This is the kit that I used, plus a 100 grit diamond pad...

To be fair, I suggested it to the client and then profiled a mosaic "off cut" to prove the finish. The client was instantly impressed and prepared to pay for my time to do it. As for the timescale, it didn't actually take much longer to do in the grand scheme. I reckon the access panel, fully tiled bath panel and tiled boxing to hide the pipes behind the basin pedestal took longer  :incazzato:.

Cheers,

Daz

Thanks Gary.

Remember that pain in the rear job that I was telling you I had just finished........That was it!:lol:.
