Help! 85m2 swimming pool in mosaics....help with labour price

Hi All

Can anyone help me out with a price for a 85m2 swimming pool. Concrete construction. My customer wants to use mosaics. I have done my homework on the materials i'm going to use. I just need a little help on the labour cost as obviously I dont want to loose the job by going in too high, and I dont want to do myself over going in too low.

Any help on labour cost would be a real help

sorry mate only been involved in one and I did the limestone surrounds, leisure area and changing rooms (125m). The pool was a specialist job as it's supposed to be pretty easy to mess up. I talked to the guys who came up to do the job and they said that as long as the pool builder built to spec (using exact multiples of the mosaic size) it would be straight forward as long as you set out accurately. Going off square from the middle and having to do LOTS of cuts at the edges being one of the many problems. Glass mosaic seemingly needing to be cut and filed so that there are no sharp edges. Dunno if they were bigging it up but it looked pretty interesting. Bound to be others with plenty of experience at it on here. Good luck.

done lots of pools most pools have coving so the way we do them is to get a band maybe 3 sheets down fom the top all the way round then drop the back wall down to the floor this involves making your own rounded skirting i could go on pm me if you need any help

Is there any water level borders to go in it or decorative panel on the floor of the tank?

Any finger grips or scum channels?

Are you tiling the surround as well?

Sorry Steve but if you don't know how to price up a job of this size/type then you a definitely taking on too much!
The responsibility and costs involved can break you if you get it wrong.
Contact a more experienced pool installer with the job and see if he will coach you on this one for the introduction.
