Hi folks
Finished a kitchen/utility floor on concrete in brown porcelaine tiles and the customer has just rang me about the colour of the grout saying its too dark grey. Last year i did another kitchen for him in a different house and he wanted the same colour grout as that job. On that job i,m sure i used the mapie grey grout and on this one i used the dunlop flexi grey and i did think it looked a little dark when i was doing it but thought it would lighten a bit when it dried, so my question is............
1. has the grout dried properly, its been down around 15 hours
2. if it has dried and its not gona get any lighter, is there any way of lightning the colour without rakeing the lot out and starting again, ie. mabe mopping it with bleach
Your thoughts and suggestions please
Thanx Andy

I would wait at least 3 days before doing anything but its not likely that 2 different grouts will be the same shade.

Thanks sir
Just wondering wether to bite the bullet now then and go rake it out today before it sets 100%, do you think the bleach might work if i leave it till monday??
Thanx

15 hours or 3 days ...i dont think it will be any different to rake out really but its your call.

Right, decided to chew that bullet, i,m off to rake it, my fault innit, he,s bin a good customer so only fair, live and learn eh???
Thanx again sir
