Hello,

I'm a DIY tiler, done a fair bit of wall tiling but will be laying some 600x600 floor tiles for the first time in the hall soon.

I'll be need some guidance to make sure I get everything as level as possible.

cheers

Hi Simon and welcome aboard. Thanks for registering. You've come to the right place.

Just pretend the floor is one big wall and you should be fine. :)

What's down at the moment and what will you be tiling over? (Wood / concrete etc?)

Dan,

I see you spotted my question in the forum that describes the current flooring (suspended t&g) and I chose 12mm ply to cover it.

After some reading on here, it seems ply may not be the best choice these days..!

cheers

simon
