Fibre Glass....

Hey I've just used fibre glass for the first time today:yikes:

I've got to say, what smashing stuff to work with

Has anyone else had any experience with this wonderful medium?

I made a few canoes once...long time ago though. Also done a few repairs with it.

I got myself a project boat to do up last weekend

So seeing as i got finished early, I've been repairing various area's today

Mind you I can knock on doors with my fingertips now - they're solid, can't feel a thing:lol:

wonderfull stuff merle

used it for all sorts including relining cast iron box gutters, big fat wheel arches on old fords and repairing boats

For years I had thought that this was a super specialist thing to do😳

Doddle job, although i'm sure the experts do it quicker/neater - thank the lord for P38 and my electric palm sander:lol:

My old race beetle was predominantly fibre glass :lol:. Loads of repairs and those annoying splinters :mad2:
