A sealer that will leave a sheen will be a topical sealer... no good for exterior use.... now a colour enhancer would work..

Aqua mix enrich and seal.

as Dave says I would recommend a water based sealer for external as anything else will have environmental impact issues

Thanks Dave, the job I am on at the moment. Is having calibrated limestone . Laid on the patio, I suggested a colour enhancer to the client. Would this product work equally well on limestone flags?

Sandstone and limestone big difference the sandstone will eat the sealer where as your limestone will be slow to take it up so keep an eye don't want it puddling.

Reason behind not using topical sealers is they cure to a skin over the surface, any moisture that get behind will blow it and will turn white.
