I think van makers need to wake up and fit much better lighting.

Me too. I got LED lighting for £20 and it made a massive difference.

(I'm sure the tool thieves appreciated it too last week )

Never thought about that, might have been easier.

They took all my Makita gear. Usefully packed in Makpac cases.

I don't think the lights made a difference - only joking about that.
Internal lighting was rubbish and I often had to use a torch in winter, so it's a good and cheap upgrade.
I wish I had upgraded my lock though from the pitiful Ford one.
