Apologies if this has been covered by another thread. I'm about to embark on tiling my kitchen splashback/windowsill. I'm using tiles 300mm x 100mm but my window sill plinth is currently only about 90mm above the worktop. I'm thinking of building up the height of the existing plinth to allow me to fit a full tile betwen the worktop and the window sill. I'm looking for some advice on how best to finish off the joins - with trim or other suggestions, and which tile, the wall tile or sill tile, should overlap the other. Hope that makes sense. All suggestions welcome.

Personally I'm a fan of chrome trim and I would tile it so the fill and reveals over lapped the wall. With mitred corners I think it looks the best

Pete - thanks. Any chance you could clarify what you mean by the fill and reveals overlapping the wall..? So the top edge of the tile sitting on my worktop would overlap the tile on the sill (or the other way around...?).

Sorry I meant cill, it got auto corrected!! I would tile the wall first then tile the cill and up the insides (the reveals) the tiles on the cill would sit on top of the ones on the wall.
