Hi all,
Iv been asked to tile 200m of Limestone flooring, i use limestone a lot so i know the material well, however, the floor I'm tiling onto is a lime-create floor with underfloor heating, i suggested to the client to use Ditra under the tiles as normal, but he insisted that the floor MUST breathe (its a 200year old cottage and he wants the floor to be like the old original floor- No DPM). The idea is that the floor slab breathes naturally and so must the tiles! obviously i need a flexible adhesive for the underfloor heating but the polymers in it will hinder the tiles breathing!? is there any flexible adhesive which will breathe but also be ok with any possible rising moisture??
Any Ideas
Regards
Ben
