last
A last is a mechanical form shaped like a human foot. It is used by shoemakers and cordwainers in the manufacture and repair of shoes. Lasts typically come in pairs and have been made from various materials, including hardwoods, cast iron, and high-density plastics.
I thought I'd create a thread so we can link each other to the last thing we bought on eBay, so we can share our deals.
Worth noting for the sake of being open, tilersforums.com gains a commission on links to eBay by way of a tracking cookie. It doesn't disclose anything to us, or even the...
You'll see this in the sidebar on the forum (if viewing on a laptop or computer, or perhaps viewing in landscape on tablets). We used to have this on the old forum, and it was always a winner.
It's not something you'll see on smaller tile forums, because it just doesn't look as cool.
So far...
A recent thread and a couple of members made me question the way I've been using tile trim recently and I wondered which way the forum guys and gals do it.
I've always butted the tile trim up to the tile WITHOUT a spacer, on both an external corner, and when tiles finish half way up a wall...
Glitter Grout - Adhesive & Grout
Seems they have red, pink and copper coloured glitter now for even more sparkly grout options!

Anyway, hope I aint missed too much and...
I've got a Rubi DU200LBL. When I cut hard porcelain almost always 'breaks' when I reach the last 10 to 15mm. I'd upload a pic if I can figure how on a mobile. I have both continous porcelain and turbo blades from ATS - makes no difference what blade, speed of cut.
I reckon it might be down to...

Do most of us look at this part of a posted thread ? i always do , just to see who the lurkers are that don't reply or contribute to the forum very often are , and there are quite a few :hurray:
my last thread was closed due to some members arguing so ive started a new one with an update on my bathroom re tiled after the lady tiler made such a mess, and sadly the new isn't very good. I was recommended this tiler from a manager of a tile shop I know and I was expecting brilliant job...
This forum area seems to be a bit quiet so I'm wondering if it has been a while since you guys installed electric underfloor heating? What's the score? When was the last time you've installed some?
This time I've been embarrassed whilst I'm away in manchester by leaving my plumber to simply call in and fit a toilet and sink and re attach a radiator. Im in the christie with me mam having chemo. I dont need this shy yt so come september ill hopefully be on a plumbing course.
Started off badly, as when I stripped out I found the the dormer roof had Been leaking. So ceiling down, kingspan, vapour barier and foil back plasterboard was the order of the day. Luckily a local rein roof company did the outside bit.
Here's a few pics of progress so far.
As it was

Well we are through...I just wrote a decent length post and it crashed...cant be chewed to write it all again but hey ho away we go.
I wonder who we will get next !

All fully epoxied.
Could do we going back and taking some better photos of it know it is completed.
Tedious work cutting the mosaics...
