Bulk buying screws for backer board

Just wondered if anyone bought bigger quantities of screws for boarding floors ? I have a couple of large floors to board and the usual turbo gold screws only seem to be available in boxes of 100, any decent alternatives ?

Wedi screws come in a box of a thousand but probably pricey .

I get all my screws from ironmongery direct, the Timco screws are really good and cheap.
I prefer them to turbo gold.

I get my bulk from a trade depot called Stax - 2000 in a box - for a 25mm 4 - about £15 I think. or a Riesser Cutter for £24 for 1600 - It all depends on how good the flooring is as to which screw I buy.....

The plasterboard screws are fine very sharp and cheap ,there fine i checked

No good for flooring, only good for plasterboarding !

i dont use hardie much dont like it myself ,a plumber i use ashad a few issues with it on walls ,i prefer ditra for floors, just my preferance ,

Hardie and Ditra are two different things
