I’m planning to use an L shaped trim for metro tiles with bevelled edge. Is it best to always have a cut edge agains the trim or doesn’t it matter? Just wondering because of the gap on the bevelled edge or will it not be noticeable as the adhesive will level it out a bit?

Thanks

Hi Rachel.
Without knowing all the details. Do not put the cut edges into a grout joint, especially when they are the Metro tiles.
You may find you will need a different size trim dependant on where on the tile the trim will sit.
For example - manufactures edge may be 5-6mm but when placing trim on a cut edge it will measure 6-8mm.

Hope this helps.
