Ripped my floor up today 30m2 in a couple of hours.........most of the tiles came up whole !!....anyone hazard a guess as to why it failed..?

Maybe the cowboys over here are only ever buying seconds or something then? I can honestly say when I find out that the tiles for a job are Marazzi I either want to pass on the job or I try and price myself out of it.

It must be an option for suppliers to buy different levels of standard then. Your retailers must be buy top grade material and mine are buying as cheap as they can get it, which wouldn't surprise me tbh.

It's the same wherever you go mate eh!
In fact those in the image above were sold by an independent at around £80m2, yet Topps do exactly the same tile £20 cheaper.
Comes in 3 widths, and I must admit I really love the idea of mixing 3 sizes, but yet to have the opportunity to do one like that.

Over here we've one supplier that has the franchise for Marazzi and the same supplier is famous for charging top prices for crap on the back of their name, so it's a monopoly on this product and perhaps that's why my experience of Marazzi has only ever been that they are a crap tile poorly made and a ***** to cut.

Good morning. Chasing termites around a house again today. The house has had long term tenants for the last six months and has the first holiday renters of the season coming Tuesday.
My wife has just spent the last 2 days just cleaning the kitchen!
The tenants said "Some of paintwork needs touching up" ....how about changing all the architrave and painting the whole house, looks like I've got a "Julian" coming up rather than an Andysday tomorrow...
