Any thoughts on this guys, have a massive 6 x 3m kitchen to do which also flows into a conservatory. Customer wants electric underfloor heating, he's bought all his insulation boards 10mm. Kitchen is suspended wood floor, conservatory is screed, I thought 6mm Hardie backer onto the wood then the insualtion boards, UFH mesh and then SLC then tile. Then I thought if the insulation boards are 10mm anyway could I do away with the Hardie or would you just put that down as standard? Decisions :)

Are the levels flush at the moment between the floors or is there a height various....

what type, brand of insulation boards?
10mm Wedi for example correctly fitted over a rigid/stable timber floor is a good tile backer and insulation in one.
