Which grit pad to finish cut tile edges - TilersForums.com

hello all

What grit polishing pads do you use to finish cut edges on ceramic glazed tiles. I thinking In particular about metro tile mitred edges or normal straight cuts where the glaze chips slightly. What is best hand pad or grinder pad to polish away any imperfections.

60 and 120 maybe 200.

What are you doing with the metros?

Oh sorry, you’re mitring. I’d do it with a grinder/polisher with my Montolit STL blade and CGX blade.

If its just for taking the rough edge off I like the ats 60 grit hand pads..

Try it out on a few pads. 120 or 200 might be better.

Get yourself a pack of various pads. The 60/120/200 will be the most used.
