We are about to lay an opus Light Travertine. Its quite 'rustic' so it varies from quite light to beigy colours. However we are not in a position to visit any show rooms to determine grout colour and I was wondering if anyone had any photos of ligfht travertine with various grout colours.

It seems, after looking at other posts, the choice is Beige or Ivory (from Mapei) Or limestone (from BAL). Our prefernce is the beige but are worried it might be too dark against the light travertine. On the other hand my wife worries the ivory will get dirty too quickly (though I will be sealing it).

I guess grout colour choice is quite subective given the above colours so any advice comments would be welcome !

Beige is too dark with light travertine....jasmine is the better option IMO....i am in the proces of laying an opus travertine pattern in light walnut and beige goes well with that coz it is slightly darker than light ivory travertine...

I have used limestone from Bal,,, but i have had problems with it drying patchy...so i now use mapei ultracolour.

I'm with whitebeam.. Mapei Jasmine will look spot on against the light travertine.
