Yes there are specific glass blades available. Bisazza sell some for their products but they are bought in and re sold, so don't assume they are the best available just because they come from Bisazza.

There's a seller on eBay who lists them, they are quite distinctive in so much as they have a bronze colour diamond bond which seems to be the norm for glass related products.

We've been looking at these for a while and there are numerous different grades they can be a bought in from £5 to £150 for what outwardly looks like an identical blade. We haven't yet got a straight answer to what the difference is as I think certain grades are suited to certain types of glass. It's a quite a specialist product and annoyingly most are produced with a 20mm centre bore to fit glass specific machinery.

Ideally you should use a variable speed grinder with glass mosaics. On site I use a cordless grinder (which is less brutal) with a Bisazza blade.

I like the look of the one in the link but its for wet use only.
