Hi all

Had the mick taken out of me today at the merchants for my choice of shoes

I WEAR CROCS (those daft rubber things)

they look well daft but i have to say very comfy and easy to clean

anyhow am i the only croc wearing tiler out there or do you own a pair

we all wore clogs out in spain so the crocs are an improvement

ps i wear boots on site jobs and when ripping out a room H and S and all that.

yeh thats why i stopped wearing flip flops toes stuck together with addy by the end of the day:lol:

Years working with & selling & shifting around large format tiles...yomping around building sites, soon taught me to wear these...toe tected and also ankle supportive.....Gaz

My trainers are cream crackered now so I may invest in a pair of steel toe capped trainers.

Trainers for general light tiling, but got some caterpillar steelies for any heavy lifting.
I find that if I am kneeling alot the steelies cut off blood circulation to my toesies!

After picking up a box of floor tiles by the nylon strap.........and the strap snapping, sending the tiles crunching onto my toes (breaking 2) I always wear steel toe capped boots.

How I got to the bottom of the garden before yelling I'll never know.

I had to carry on working for 2 weeks in agony:mad2:
