Kitchen/utility floor, loads of cutting, it's doing my head in! I'm just building up the mental strength to tackle this tile

Just finished a bathroom, home now, feet up coffee on the go.

fairplay mate nice payday then lol

I'm in the Devonsbrook showroom grouting a couple displays, music full tick, should be home in an hour!

Kitchen walls 10x10 3 colours wavy edge western stone. Hate doing them loads of switches, heating control, wall units etc etc.

Made sure the customer wanted random fixing rather than uniform, my pet hate

Multi-tool comes into its own now Bri. I would take bottom off architrave, cut about 10mm into casings and knock out with chisel and take bottom off skirting just in that corner.

Think your going to have to slide the tile quite a bit on this one Bri.

Good luck

Can you see it in the back of the picture John? I've only had the fein a few weeks and its a godsend, makes fitting tiles like this one, ten times easier.

Can't see it Bri, it's a bit dark, can only see what looks like some sort of magazine that says BUSTY on the top

ok bri thanks a lot mate... yeh john well I just got the impression you meant cut away the architrave and sit the tile underneath but if that's the case why didn't he just do that with the rest of those funny cuts he had to make. but i more than likely got the wrong idea as usual lmao

I'm guessing that's what Bri has already done on the other side of the door opening!

Had a pretty tough one today. Left Windsor at 5.30 just got in from South East London at 7.24pm. Back bar area needing to be tiled in really poor 200 x 50 x 15mm thick tiles. Yes 200 x 50!! got line blindness after fitting 13 mtr and probably 5 mtrs of this being rake cutting Tile quality awful just one of those days me thinks???????

This.
Had to take out quarry's around the steel covers, then screed in
semi dry s/c ,floated it,then laid the quarry's in the screed and cut back 20mm from the covers.
Grouted in s/ c then cleaned off.
This was at a sewage works, what you call a quick smash and grab, get in and get out ,stunk 🙁

Bri only circa 1170 tiles with a 2mm joint but yes drove me mad and still have another 6 Mtrs to finish in the morning and then grout!!!!

A Nice wee 7.5m2 of tumbled Marble Mosaic on walls & 4m2 of porcalain 600x300 on floor
back to finish off on Thursday i hope....Already behind on this one due to unreliable plumber.

been working at home today. Tomorrow starting on roughcasting a big semi-detached house (both houses) due to two time wasters that I quoted for that liked the start date I gave them for 60m2 floors, but never got back to me to discuss the quote.
