Hi,
As title says,
I bought former and tanking membrane off wetdecs a few weeks back, which adhesive is recommended to stick the membrane to floor (its the thicker one) and the membrane/joint tapes to walls etc.
Is it something I can buy in wickes/BnQ?
Cheers to wetdecs or anyone else who can answer...

cheers dave,
can u verify this order is right too please:
1, i stick the corners/edging tape (between floor and wall)
2. then floor membrane
3. then wall membrane?

1 : floor membrane
2 : corners & wall to floor tapes
3 : wall membrane

thats the way i do it...this way the wall over laps the tapes and then the tapes over lap the floor.....no damp gets through then....

quick question is this a good adhesive to use?

BAL PTB Flexible adhesive

cheers

BAL PTB Flexible adhesive

Pourable thick bed is not necessary for your installation. Stay with Single part flexible or Rapid set equivalent and you should be fine. PTB is designed for fixing tiles with differing thicknesses like slate, on the whole. It is not as "easy" to use as standard SPF, and probably more expensive.
