Hi Chaps

Just popped over from the plumbers forum, on 1 of my extensions i"ve got wet underfloor heating down and the floor was tiled last thursday/friday how long do i need to leave the underfloor off i forgot to ask the tiler when i was there. Tiles are 600x600 porcelain

Thanks

I usually leave it 2 weeks at least and then slowly increase temperature over a period of time.

Same as sir ramic really. Minimum of two weeks after the tiling is completed for me, then turn onto lowest setting and increase by one deg per day until max temp is reached.

Yeah it has been on for at least a month and sand cement screed Dave, I"ll turn it back on a couple weeks then

It is the temperature of the water passing through the floor that needs to be increased slowly (5 degrees C/day) so you will need to understand how your plumbing works. Just raising the temperature setting on your room thermostat is not the same.
