We have this model and a cheaper version with all plastic rollers. The better ones have stainless steel rollers etc.. All our washboys are made in Germany along with our trowels. It does say MADE IN GERMANY on the side.

Looks the same to me just has a different sponge handle. Ours has the segmented sponge with interchangable handle.

I can't remember what sponge mine came with to be honest it was that long ago, mines german also, not sure if you can read that on the side or not.

It doesn't say it on the washboys only on the trowels. but they come from the same place in Germany.
